On December 31, 1949, Ray married Eva Burchett, beginning a marriage rooted in devotion and shared life. She preceded him in 2010.
Ray worked as a laborer for Kolux until his retirement. In his free time, he found satisfaction in wood-working, an enduring interest that spoke to his patient hands, practical skill, and appreciation for creating something lasting.
He is survived by several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Ray is preceded in death by his siblings: Harold Harrington, Geneva Scott, Willard Harrington, Dwain Harrington, Mable Webb, and Thelma Etherington.
A Committal Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on April 2, 2026, at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902, at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
