Richard L. Bragg

Richard L. Bragg, age 87, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Richard was born in Grant County, Indiana, to Chester and Ruth (Kelly) Bragg August 4, 1935. He married Ina Rice, June 23, 1968. He retired from Chrysler after 31 years of work. He also drove a church bus for many years, transporting families and children to church and taking kids to summer camp. He was always looking for ways to help people out, often helping to clean or do anything else that needed to be done around the church. Rich loved his Lord and Savior and he always looked to spread His good news! He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather who absolutely loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, working on cars, and road trips. Rich will be remembered for his great sense of humor and love of telling jokes, as well as his love for his Lord and family.

Richard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ina Bragg; sons, Dallas (Christa) Bragg, and John Bragg; daughters, Margaret (Keith) Stephens and Iantha (Mike) Moore; brother, Tim Bragg; sister-in-law, Wanda Bragg; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Ruth; brother, Butch Bragg; daughter, Ruth Bragg Whary; nephew, Eddie & his wife Betty Bragg; granddaughter, Danielle Bragg Cohen; and great-granddaughter, Faith Palin.

A public visitation for Richard will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, with a funeral service at 2:00pm.

Richard will be laid to rest in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902-4839.
