Richard Lee Tyler

Richard was born April 8th, 1944 in Kokomo to his parents Charles Tyler and Virginia (Sease) Riley

Richard is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Sue (McDonald) Tyler, daughter Tina (Victor) Ramirez, grandchildren Tiffany Sharrow, Josiah (Jennifer) Ramirez, Jacob Ramirez, great granddaughter Faith Ramirez; brother’s Charles (Betty) Tyler, David (Sharon) Tyler, Danny Tyler, Greg Riley; sister Martha (Tim) Mcfarland.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents Charles Tyler and Virginia (Garnet) Riley; sister Patricia Pratt.

He graduated Kokomo High School in 1963 in which during his senior year he began working at Milbank Manufacturing and later was promoted to Plant Manager. On March 27th, 1965 he married his loving wife Carolyn Sue (McDonald) Tyler. He enjoyed automotive tools, restoring older cars and even completed a 1965 Ford Fairlane convertible for his daughter Tina.

He was a man of few words but was always known as a man of integrity and honesty. He had a dry sense of humor that was loved by many but most importantly his family who will miss him dearly.

Services will be Thursday November 10th, 2016 at 10:00am with visitation one hour prior and Wednesday November 9th, 2016 from 4:00-8:00pm all located at Ellers Mortuary (3400 S. Webster Street Kokomo, IN 46902)
