He retired from Kokomo Sanitary Pottery. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the lake. He also enjoyed playing Bingo, loved going to Vegas, and cherished spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother; son, Robert “Bob” Flynn Banter, Kokomo; daughter, Ginger Michelle Weideman, Kokomo; five grandchildren, Blake Banter, Mea Banter, Nick Weideman, Wade Weideman, and Madison Johanning; brother, Jim Midgett, Florida; and sister, Marcia Vanderveen, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Jackie Ringeet and Bonnie Hinkle.
