Robert Earl Campbell

Robert Earl Campbell, age 85, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9,2025 in Kokomo, Indiana. Born in Kokomo, IN on October 11,1939 to Lewis and Goldie (Hewitt) Campbell, Robert was the beloved husband to Doris Elaine (Shanks) Campbell, who preceded him in death. He was the father to Jeffrey Michael Campbell (Lisa Charlais), Staci Elaine Stitt (David), and Melissa Ann Campbell.

Robert was the loving grandfather to Haley Morgan Molchan, Rachel Layne Molchan, Jordan Michael Campbell, and Jenna Marie Campbell. He was a respected architectural engineer and vice president of JC Products in Indianapolis. Robert loved many sports. He loved watching football, baseball and basketball games. He was an avid golfer as well.

Robert loved coin collecting, collecting antiques and doing puzzles of all kinds. He spent hours doing Sudoku while sitting outside in the sunshine.

He was preceded in death by his only brother, Lewis Campbell and his daughter, Melissa Ann. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service for Robert will be Thursday, August 14,2025 at 1:00pm, at Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Family and friends may visit from 11:00am until the time of service. Robert will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Albright Cemetery, 3910 S. Albright Road, Kokomo.
