Robert J. Gonzales

It is with sadness that the family of Robert J. Gonzales, 66, Kokomo announces his passing on January 13, 2022. He was born in Kokomo to Jesse & Mary Gonzales on August 14, 1955. Robert was married to Ruth Ann (Budd) Gonzales for 30 years until her passing. Robert retired from Haynes Intl. and was Chairman of E.A.P. while with the company. He loved construction and could build anything. He enjoyed long walks and fishing. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as eating enchiladas. Robert is survived by sons, Robert “Bobby” (Sheena) Wilson & Michael Gonzales; daughters, Angelita (Isaac) Burgei, Kristina Gonzales & Michelle (Michael) Vazquez; grandchildren, Zoey, Ashley, Justin, Jake, Malin, Isaac, Austen, Phoenix, Xander, Riley, Ariel, Brody, Juliana, Giana, Jude, Shamiyah, Michael, Mikyla and Liliana; brothers, Jesse Gonzales & Daniel (Robyn) Gonzales; sisters, Angelina (Rick) Neuhauser, Pearl Ortiz, Mary Lou (Dan) Taylor & Virginia Debusk. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Ruth; son, Nathan Gonzales & brother Steve Gonzales. A celebration of life with be scheduled at a later date.
