

Bob graduated from Kokomo High School in 1966 and went on to get a degree in Business Management from Indiana University. He began his career at GM/Delco Electronics shortly after he joined the Army and volunteered to serve in Vietnam. Due to being wounded in 1968 he returned home and was awarded two purple hearts for his valor.
Bob met his wife Wanda while stationed at Fort Knox in Kentucky. She survives and they celebrated 54 years together in November. He worked for General Motors in Kokomo for 37 years until his retirement in 2003.
Bob is survived by his wife Wanda (O’neal); daughter Kim (Bryan) Masters of Kokomo; son Robert (Amanda) Martin Jr. of Westfield; grandchildren Hudson & Brynley Martin of Westfield; his twin brother William “Bill” (Vicky) Martin of Kokomo; sister in laws Kathy Jordan & Sue Sharbono; brother in laws Billy O'Neal & Mike (Teresia) O'Neal along with many nieces & nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Scott and Deanie Martin; baby sister Kimberly Martin; niece Shawna Martin and many close family friends whom he shared lots of great memories with.
Over the years Bob enjoyed being at the lake, bowling, traveling with his son to golf tournaments, dancing to the oldies, being with family & friends for special events throughout the years. He was especially proud of his country and those in military service.
Bob was a great husband, father, grandfather “Pap”. His values that he encompassed were hard work, compassion, leadership, selflessness and honesty.
Visitation for Bob will be Wednesday December 14, 2022 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Ellers Mortuary 3400 S. Webster St. Kokomo.
Services will be Thursday December 15, 2022 11:00am at the Mortuary with burial following in Albright Cemetery
