

Robert "Bob" Albert Mund, loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather, age 77, of Kokomo, Indiana went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2024. Robert was born in Winamac, Indiana to Raymond and Edna (Cox) Mund on March 23, 1947. He married the love of his life Cathy Graham and had 2 children. He enlisted into the United States Army in July of 1966 and served honorably. During his time of service, he received preliminary schooling for machinery and radio repair. After serving his country, he continued his education, becoming a licensed electrician. He went on to become a devoted employee of Delco Electronics. He was a dedicated member of the UAW, NRA, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Bob enjoyed all forms of racing, air shows, and traveling. He also enjoyed listening to music and watching live performances on YouTube. He would take pleasure in going for drives, getting ice cream with the family and watching the sun set. He also liked to visit the ocean.
Bob was known for his altruism, sense of humor, and his compassion. He had a curious, intelligent nature. He was always reading and learning new things. He was also an excellent teacher. He was extremely patient and greatly loved teaching his grandchildren new things. Bob especially loved his family and spending time with them. He very often used the phrase "...so we all can be together." His kindness, selflessness and quick wit will always be fondly remembered, and the absence of his presence will be forever felt by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cathy Mund; daughter, Amber Mund; son, Brian (Charity) Mund; brother, Mike (Mari) Mund; sister-in-law, Dale Mund; and grandsons, Riley, Graham and Raymond.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Edna Mund, and his brother, Richard Mund.
A memorial visitation for Robert will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a celebration of life with military honors at 5:00 PM.
