Robert "Bob" Gordon Sears, age 82, of Sharpsville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Community Howard Regional Hospital. He was born on October 6, 1942 in Meador, Kentucky to the late Wilmer and Ocie (Oliver) Sears. Bob married Betty (Rogers) Sears on November 9, 1963 in Kokomo, IN and she survives.
Bob graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1962. He retired from Delco Electronics in 1993. He was a member of the UAW#292. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Bob loved to spend time with his family. He attended Abundant Life Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty; two sons, Shawn Sears and Rick Sears; grandson, Brayton (Dina) Sears; two sisters, Joyce Haalck and Margaret (Walt) Nixon; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death his parents; brother, William D. Sears; and sister, Patsy Sears.
The Celebration of Life for Bob will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Abundant Life Center, 865 East 400 South, Kokomo, IN 46902. Bob's family will accept visitors from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Pastor Toph Elkins will be officiating.
