He retired from Chrysler as a Lineman after 35 years of service and retired in 2007. He was a member of the UAW #685 and member of the Mount Piscah Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan and of RC Remote Cars. He also enjoyed landscaping.
Surviving is his daughter, Aissa Hendrix; son, Ryan Hendrix; four grandchildren, Destini Hendrix, Dakota Hendrix, Alex Hendrix, and Isaiah Reeves; great-grandchild, Maverick Consentino; mother, Sue Ann Hendrix; and brother, Roger (Robin) Hendrix.
Preceded in death is his father, Robert J. Hendrix; and brother, Raymond Hendrix.
The family will plan a private gathering at a later date.
