

Ronald L. Quinn, 79, Kokomo, passed away June 19, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born on May 20, 1936, the son of Paul and Pansy (Eckles) Quinn. Ron proudly served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Chrysler after 36 years of service. Ron always enjoyed helping people by fixing things for them. As a hobby, he enjoyed playing the Lowrey Organ. Ronald will be missed by his entire family and all that knew him and considered him a friend.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Paul Quinn, his mother and step-father, Pansy and Robert Haworth, his son, Troy Quinn, his sister, Gloria Johnson, and his sister-in-law, Anita Quinn. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jacquelynne "Jackie" Quinn; his daughter, Vickie Hoover (Gary); his sons, Doug Hartley (Rebecca) and Dennis Hartley (Angie); his step-daughter, Kimberly Sams (Mike); his sisters, Carolyn Avery (Robert) and Linda Mouser (Harold); his brothers, Robert "Red Quinn and Emory Meacham, Jr. (Charmaine); his brother-in-law, Glen R. Johnson; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 26 at 5 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, with visitation from 4 PM until service time. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2723 Albright Road, Kokomo, IN 46902.
