

Ronald E. Sibray, 77, of Greentown, passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, Indiana. He was born June 1, 1944 in Flora, Indiana to Robert L. Sibray and Loretta J. (Doan) Sibray.
He was a 1962 graduate of Carroll High School. After high school he worked for National Homes in Lafayette and Chrysler Kokomo Transmission Plant. Ronald served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967 in Ft. Belvoir, VA. He worked at Kokomo Transmission Plant from 1967 until his retirement in 1999 in skilled trades.
Ronald married Gloria Lange in 1970 and she survives along with a daughter, Carla M. Bourne (Douglas) and a son, Kyle D. Sibray.
He loved golf and played every week with the retirees at Tipton Golf Course up until last year. He enjoyed fishing trips with his buddies, bowling, coaching Junior Varsity Girls Softball at Eastern High School for 14 years and coaching Greentown Little League Baseball. He was an avid Purdue fan.
Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Hannah M. Bourne, Abigail R. Bourne, Samuel B. Bourne, Alexis D. Sibray, Caleb J. Sibray and Blake M. Caldwell; 1 sister Cheryl K. Donoho (Ted); sisters-in-law Ann Gerbers (Keith) and Debra L. Desgrange (Robert); several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews; and 1 uncle Joe Sibray.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and brother Paul; nephew Tony and several aunts and uncles.
A Memorial service for Ronald will be Saturday December 4, 2021 2:00pm at Ellers Mortuary 3400 S. Webster Street Kokomo, IN 46902 with a gathering of friends & family from 11:00am until time of service. Pastors Russell Patton & Brian White will officiate.
