

Rosemary June Hamilton, 99, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017. Rosemary was born April 2, 1918 to Frank Sapp and Hazel (Bowen) Sapp. She married Randy Houchins on June 22, 1940. He preceded her in death in September of 1975. She then married her late husband Herbert Hamilton In April 4, 1976. He passed August of 2008.
Rosemary graduated from the Indiana School of Deaf. She retired from Delco after 23 years of service and was a member of the UAW 292. She also was a member of the Kokomo Deaf Club and the Indianapolis Senior Citizen’s Deaf Club. Rosemary enjoyed working on her word search puzzles, and loved reading the Bible. Rosemary was a Christian woman, she never met a stranger and she will be dearly missed by all who were lucky to know her.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her late husbands; Randy Houchins and Herbert Hamilton, daughter; Sandy Sallee, great granddaughter; Chelsea Griffin, brother; Leonard Sapp and sisters; Fern Gardineer, Deloris Fegley, Norma Mulligan and Margaret Sapp.
Surviving Rosemary are her son in law; James Sallee and his wife Nancy, grandchildren; Randy (Lois) Sallee, Kimberly (Rick) Griffin, great grandchildren; Darin (Megan) Griffin, Ashley (Josh) Drawdy and Jim Sallee, several loving nieces and nephews and her longtime friend and caregiver, Elma Brown.
Funeral Services for Rosemary will be Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel; 3400 South Webster Street. The family will offer visiting hours between 12 and 2pm. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. Interpreting services will be available.
