Ruth O. Ebeling

Ruth O. Ebeling, 92, passed away on January 23, 2018 at Century Villa in Greentown, Indiana. She was born on February 3, 1925 in Cicero, Indiana. Ruth married her husband of 60 years, Albert Ebeling, in 1957 in Tipton, Indiana and he survives. Ruth retired from Delco Electronics in 1986 after 34 years.

Ruth was a hard worker. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed traveling to Florida. Ruth was talented at needlepoint. Ruth loved her children and her dogs. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Albert Ebeling; children Albert Jr. (Beth) Ebeling, David (Karen) Ebeling, Erik (Elizabeth) Svedin, Karen (Ron) Rougeau; stepchildren Christopher Ebeling, Julie Humphries, and Cindy (Rob) Fisher; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Ruth is preceded in passing by her parents; and siblings Paul, Francis, Nel, and step sister Betty.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM on Monday, January 29 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 30 at 12:00 PM, at Sunset Memory Garden. Pastor David Osborne will officiate. Ruth will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden.
