Obituary of Ryana Alexis Nix
Ryana Alexis Nix, 11 went home to God Monday August 13th, 2018 at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born November 4th, 2006 to Michael Crecelius and Kayla (Nix) Beatty. Ryana always had a smile on her face, no matter what she was going through, whether it was her battle with Cystic Fibrosis, or her more recent battle with Leukemia. She was a fighter through and through and fought with fierce strength and determination. Ryana had just finished 5th grade at Sycamore Elementary School, and was looking forward to 6th grade at Maconaquah, especially band, where she was excited to learn how to play Harry Potter on the flute. She loved arts and crafts, baking, Minecraft, and had just started to learn how to refurbish dolls. Ryana enjoyed playing basketball and played for Upward at New Life Church. Ryana also loved to read, with Harry Potter being her absolute favorite books. No matter what book she was reading, The Prisoner of Azkaban will always be her favorite. Ryana belonged to the House of Ravenclaw and would have loved to study with Luna Lovegood. She even dressed as Luna last Halloween. Ryana was also a Dr. Who fan with her favorite quote being “You were fantastic, and you know what, so was I.” Ryana was such an amazing young lady. Those of us who knew her, know she had the biggest heart. She loved everyone, and everyone she met instantly loved her. Ryana will be forever loved and missed by her parents Kayla and Mark Beatty, Michael and Devin Crecelius, and her siblings Aylee, Dianna, and Johnathan. As well as, many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Family will receive friends Saturday, August 18th at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo IN 46902 from 10am-2pm with service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Indiana Chapter, 9075 N. Meridian Street, Suite 150, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
