Sallie Mae Willis, 70, Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at her home. She was born November 26, 1941, in Kokomo, to Thomas and Harriett (Harwood) Roseberry. On July 8, 1967, she married Ronald E. Willis, and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2008.
She is survived by her children, Penny Russell of Kokomo, Thomas (Edith) Russell of Denver, Phyllis Trosper of Indianapolis, and Scott (Amber) Russell of Peru; three step-children, Ronald (Judy) Willis of Sidell, Louisiana, Lisa (Dave) Calvert of Plainfield, and Gary Willis of Brownsburg; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Roseberry, and Jim Roseberry; and sister, Yonda Ellis.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one step-daughter, SuAnn Willis; two brothers, Jerry and Joe Roseberry; and two sisters, Martha Davis and Nancy Marrow.
The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Rd., Kokomo, IN 46902. Entombment will follow in Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
