

Sarah was a homemaker. She was an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Sarah was an Oblate with the Benedictine Monks for 30 years, and most recently, became an Oblate with the Sisters of St. Benedict in Ferdinand. Her Catholic faith was very important to her and she was a strong Prayer Warrior. Sarah, as a devout Catholic, loved Jesus and The Blessed Mother Mary. She had a loving and giving heart and loved to serve others and her friends in need. She also volunteered for Cross America, and made crosses to give to people around the world. Sarah enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, friends, and her mother, whom she was very close to. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking walks and enjoying nature. Sarah also enjoyed crafts such as sewing and crocheting, and animals, especially dogs.
Sarah is survived by three children, Elizabeth Kraner, Zakary (Karissa) Kraner, and Katlynd (Tyler) Shoffner; five grandchildren, Brooklynn, Emmalyse, and Allen Kraner, and Leighton and Easton Shoffner. her mother, Mary Lou West; brother, Mark (Terri) West; three sisters, Beverly (Randy) Jones, Joyce (Dave) Mygrant, and Anna (Robert) Kemp; and several nieces and nephews.
Sarah is preceded in death by her father, Robert West.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, Oct. 23. 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, celebrated by Fr. Brian Dudzinski. There will be a time of visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time rosary service at 12:30 P.M., also on Wednesday, at the church. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sarah to Sisters of St. Benedict Ferdinand, Indiana, envelopes will be provided at the church.
