Scott O'Brian Walker was a man who knew how to find the beauty in life, whether it was through the strings of his guitar, the steady beat of the drums, or the quiet satisfaction of a day spent working with his hands.
If you knew Scott, you knew his passions. You knew him as a musician who could bring a room to life with his voice and his talent. You knew him as a man of steady values, evidenced by his lifelong admiration for the John Deere brand and the pride he took in the tractor he cherished so dearly. But more than that, you knew him as a kind and loving soul who showed up for the people he cared about. Scott walked his own path, fueled by a genuine love for music and grounded connection to the things he loved. Today, we hold those memories close. We honor the path he traveled and the legacy of warmth he leaves behind.
Survivors include his brother, Richard Walker; sister-in-law, Teresa King; sisters, Kara Walker and Kristin Garrett; niece, Cagnie Anderson (Parker); and great-nephews, Oliver and Theodore Anderson.
He is now reunited with his family who preceded him in death; his mother, Sharon Walker; and his father and stepmother, Ed & Sue Walker.
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, June 28th, from noon until 4pm at the United Steelworkers Union Hall located at 420 N. Main Street, Kokomo, 46901.
While we deeply miss his presence here, we are comforted by the memories we shared and the knowledge that his spirit lives on in every song and every story we hold in our hearts. Scott, we forever are touched by your life and your music. May you rest in peace.
