Sharon Elizabeth Wolf

Sharon was born on August 29, 1958, in Buffalo, NY, to Shelley S. Brumberg and George C. Wolf.

In January 1964, Sharon moved to Kokomo, Indiana with her father and brother, where she continued her elementary and high school education. Sharon was a delightful, non-demanding child, who developed a love for music and languages early in childhood. She was an excellent student, also singing in choral groups, and learning to play piano. Sharon graduate from Taylor High School (Center, IN) in 1976.

In 1965, Sharon's father remarried, with Sharon now becoming part of a large, blended family with five additional siblings. The family continued to live in Kokomo and provided Sharon with many wonderful memories as part of a crazy, fun family. Over the years, Sharon traveled with her new family on many vacations all over the United States, creating many wonderful memories throughout high school.

Sharon lived at home until the death of her stepmother in 1975. Sharon then developed health issues that led to the necessity of her living in an assisted living facility, and eventually, a nursing home. Sharon's father remarried again, with Sharon now becoming part of an additional family, with two additional siblings. For the next 50 years, Sharon's father was her caregiver until the end of her life.

Sharon is survived by her father, George C. Wolf (Marcia Van Dyne), Punta Gorda, FL; her brother, Charles G. Wolf, New York, NY; stepsisters, Sara E. Hanaway (Bret), Flora, IN; Deb M. Click (Gail Adams), Lakeview, OH; Angela J. Kinch (Jim), Ft. Wayne, IN; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Shelley S. Brumberg; her stepmothers, Marjorie J. Wolf and Marceita M. Wolf; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Sabine M. Brumberg; paternal grandparents, Harold M. Aind Aime'e I. Wolf; sister-in-law, Katherine S. Wolf; stepsisters, Terri A. Mayes, Jane E. Trueblood, Laura J. Langkop; and stepbrother, David B. DeLancey.

Sharon had a soft, caring heart and an absolutely brilliant mind. She could remember amazing specific details about experiences and people, both family and friends from early childhood to the very end of her life.

Sharon's early struggles are over now, and she is in the care of our Lord God, and those loving family members who arrived before her.

A Celebration of Sharon's Life will be held on September 26, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo. A committal service will be held following the celebration of life at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Hankins officiating.
