Shelly Grubb

Shelly attended Taylor High School, and then earned her GED. She then went on to become a self-employed painter. She married Mark Grubb on September 11, 2002, and he survives.

Shelly had several passions, which included painting, shopping, NASCAR, going to rock and roll concerts (Ozzfest, AC-DC, Aerosmith…), and gardening. She was also a huge fan of Peyton Manning and collected a lot of his memorabilia. She adored animals and children and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anybody she met.

In addition to her husband, Shelly is survived by 4 sons, Jeremy (Whitney) Shanks, Nick (Bobbi) Shanks, Kelly Prater, and Steven Prater; 1 daughter, Tiffany Shanks (fiancé Jeremiah Hebner); 1 stepson, Mark Paul; 1 sister, Catina Heath; 2 nieces, Correll and Carighan Heath; 1 nephew, Coltin Heath; her aunt, Mary Evans; 16 grandchildren; and her best friends, Mary Owens, Pam Bankowski, and Sherry Marner.

In addition to her mother, Charlene Hastings, Shelly was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Martha Evans.

A public visitation for Shelly will be held on Monday, July 24th from 4-8 p.m. at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, with a funeral service being held at 8.
