

Shirley Ann Blanton Hollingsworth, 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, March 10, 2013, after years of battling chronic health problems. She was always lovingly cared for by her children. She was born February 25, 1936, in Hiram, Kentucky, to David Franklin and Lila Josephine (Lewis) Cornett.
She worked as cafeteria supervisor at St. Joseph Hospital for many years. She loved to bring happiness to all by celebrating the holidays with her many costumes while at work. She was on many hospital committees and broke ground on the new wing. She was a member of the Eagles, the Horseshoe League, the bowling league of St. Joseph, and the basketball and softball leagues. She was also a member of New Beginning Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Hollingsworth; one son, Delbert Lee Blanton, Kokomo; three daughters, Pamela (Max) Young, Russiaville, Deborah (John) McLouth, Westfield, and Shelia (Jim) Hensler, Kokomo; son-in-law, Denny Stoller; eight grandchildren, Christie (Shawn) Taylor, Brianna (Jason) Smallwood, Havilah (Scott) McDermott Kirk (Emily) McLouth, Katie (Lukas) Erard, Kortney McLouth, Jacob Hensler, and Lilian Hensler; eleven great-grandchildren; four step-children, Connie Meinders, Debbie Hollingsworth, Kathleen Valasek, and Doug Hollingsworth; nine step-grandchildren; one sister, Lee Reese, Elizabethtown, Ohio; an aunt, Ardella Redman, Brookville, Indiana; an uncle, Darrell Lewis, West College Grove, Indiana; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nathan D. Blanton; parents; one daughter, Sharon Stoller; two brothers, David Cornett, and Herbert Cornett; and beloved sister, Jewel Calihan.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
