
Sicely “Sis” Marie Daulton passed away on June 26, 2017 at approximately 4:00 pm at the age of 75. She was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on August 21, 1941, to Madie Mary Ellen (Cunningham) of Caruthersville, Missouri and Claude Freeman of Clay County, Arkansas.
Sicely was a retiree of Delco/GM in 1993, as well as a proud member of UAW 292. She loved watching TV, playing games, and spending time with her family. She was a spunky, funny, generous woman who would give whatever she had to anyone she felt needed her help. She loved deer. She had a heart of gold.
Sicely is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Mary Freeman (Greentown, IN), as well as being the proud mother of Angel Daulton, of Lafayette, IN, Tami and son-in-law Jack Harris, of Rochester, IN, Brenda (Daulton) and son-in-law Chris Miyamoto, of Indianapolis, IN, and Bryan and daughter-in-law Sara (Berryman) Daulton, of Merrillville, IN. Her pride and joy were her 11 grandchildren: Sara Rae Rust, Raiden and Alexandra Miyamoto (Indianapolis, IN); Benjamin Daulton (Los Angeles, CA) ; Aryn Daulton (Lafayette, IN); Maggie Rust (Murfreesboro, TN); Cameron Daulton (Kokomo, IN); and, Kelly, Laura, Sammie, and David Daulton (Merriville, IN); and, her two great-grandsons: Chace Williams (Lafayette, IN) and Joziah Daulton (Kokomo, IN).
Sicely was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as all of her remaining siblings and half-siblings.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
