Stephen "Kyle" Heflin Jr.

To all that knew Stephen, he was a 100% “Gearhead”! He loved tearing into anything with a motor or engine attached. From early days of tearing apart bicycles to trying to get his moped to go faster…. He was all in. He was employed at various companies over the past years as a maintenance repairman to his current employer at Haewoo Global here in Kokomo.

In March of 2024, Jennifer Crooks entered his life; at this point the new guy appeared. Getting a new house together started the magic between these two. They were very involved going from room to room to make it their home despite the curious watchful eyes of their pets Klaus the dog and Finnegan & Enzo their cats. He had multiple projects going at the time of his passing.

Stephen is survived by his fiancée Jennifer Crooks, parents: Beverly (Don) Frushour & Stephen (Jane) Heflin, son Dylan Ward & girlfriend Destiny Renfro, sisters: Melissa (Matt) Combs, Samantha Heflin & Brad Wilhoite, Stepbrother Mikey Brantley & Stepsister Ashley Brantley, niece Megan Combs & fiancée Nick Whipple and nephew Tyler Combs.

No public visitation, with immediate family only; and cremation to follow.
