Suzanne Deck
April 16, 1933 – May 19, 2018

Suzanne Deck, 85 and formerly of Kokomo, passed away on May 19th, 2018 in Palmetto, Florida. She was born on April 16th, 1933 to the late Lawrence Deck and Nellie Bowen Sexton.
Suzanne had worked for several years as a machinist at Chrysler of Kokomo, until retiring in 2003. She belonged to the Moose Lodge and was a life member of the VFW. She really enjoyed playing in Texas Hold-em tournaments.
Suzanne is survived by her children; Sandra Stewart of Florida, Alice (Bill) Collins of Galveston, James Kirby of Kokomo, Mark Kirby of Oregon, Bill Hart of Kentucky, and Jared Deck of Kokomo; siblings, Jerry (Betty) Deck of Tennessee, Mark (Vicky) Deck of Kokomo, Paul Deck of Kokomo, Bill Sexton of Indianapolis, Roger (Ledia) Sexton of Kokomo, Jacqueline Williams of Kokomo, Kathy (Bill) Eads of Kokomo, Vicky Jurden of Ohio, Pamela Shuck of Kokomo, Delviagne (Vern) Colter of Kokomo, Gee-Knee (George) Rious of Flora, Kathryn (James) Gaddy of Missouri, and Cecelia (John) Francis of Galveston. Suzanne also leaves behind several grandchildren, including Jason Lucky, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Hart; stepfather, William Sexton; stepmother, Marie Deck, eight brothers, two sisters, and one grandson.
There will be a public visitation for Suzanne held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 5th from 12-2 pm, with a funeral service immediately following.
Suzanne’s family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Cancer Sociey.
