Tabby Marie Groover, 20, passed away on March 9th, 2018. She was born to Jason Blevins and Laura Groover on October 18th, 1997 in Kokomo.

Tab was the sweetest, outgoing, funniest, most beautiful soul you could had ever met, and anyone that met Tab knows that. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body even if she wanted to be. She never judged a soul and always saw the good in everyone. She was a prankster and loved joking around. If you ever laid your phone around her later on you’d come to find a bunch of silly pictures on your phone with tons of silly faces, her smile and laughter was contagious. As a kid Tab wanted to grow up and be an “animal cop” to help the neglected animals- she loved animals. But as she got older, she realized her dream was actually to open her own bakery. She followed this dream of hers all the way to her dream college, Sullivan University in Kentucky, where she barely knew anyone but a few friends from school. Not to worry though within weeks Tab had a TON of friends, it was impossible to be around her and not feel the love and positivity beaming off of her. You couldn’t go anywhere without her running into someone she knew. She was so loved. She was the hardest working person you’ve ever met, she got that from her mom. Three days after returning home from college she had a job, and a second one within a week. But Tab LOVED working, she LOVED being around people, being included. She LOVED being the center of attention. Tab just LOVED life. She was always volunteering, a few places she volunteered to were KHS candy shop, many sporting events in the concession stands. Tab was determined to make a good life for herself, she worked hard, and long every day to try to get to where she wanted, and she was doing such a GREAT job, we are all so proud of her. She never let anyone down. One thing that everyone has told us is that Tab made their bad days, good ones, and the good ones great ones. It was so hard to be upset around Tabby, she was everyone’s own personal ray of sunshine, she ALWAYS lit up a room, and her laugh was contagious. Tab was the best friend anyone could ever ask for, your own personal diary, no matter what she had going on she was ALWAYS there for her friends and family when they needed her. Tabby gave her all in everything she did, giving up for her wasn’t an option. Tabby is survived by her parents, Laura Groover and Jason Blevins; siblings Brittany Groover and Andrew Moreno; maternal grandparents Bill (Paula) Osborne and JoAnn (Kermit) McQuiston; paternal grandmother Anita (Brian) King; aunts and uncles Billie Jo Groover, Scott Groover, Ed Woody, Joe Woody, Shannon Penawell, Bobby Rosado, David Button, Chris Blevins, and Stephanie (Darrin) Kitson; cousins Tiffany and Aaron Groover, Cooper, Rylie and Cheyanne Groover, Gracie Caroll, Pheonyx, Laelanie, and Syphyra Woody, Samantha and Marshall Woody, Nathan Button, Aubrey, Hunter, and Alexis Owens, Nathan and Kaden Blevins, Crystal, Kyle, and Logan Downs, Skylar Rosado, Elliona Webb, and Annika Kitson.

Tabby was the funniest and sweetest person I’ve ever met. She made my days at khs so much easier. One day I was sick and didn’t wanna eat so Tabby came to the caffeteria and made me eat ❤️. Also when I was getting bullied she spoke up for me 😊. Tabby was the greatest friend I’ve ever had and I will never forget her pretty smile ❤️
