

Thomas Cestare, 78, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Kokomo. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 9, 1938 to the late Thomas Cestare Sr. and Anna Finn.
Following high school, Thomas enlisted in the United States Air Force and served honorably. After his service to his country, Thomas attended college at Valparaiso University and earned his Associate’s degree. He went on to become an electrician for IBEW in Kokomo, where he worked for 20 years until his retirement in 2004.
On September 17, 1986, Thomas was married Martha Easterday at the World Famous Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas, Nevada, and she survives. Thomas and Martha became active members of the Grace Fellowship Church in Kokomo for several years. Thomas enjoyed reading, and was once a member of a writers group.
In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by his stepmother, Ruth Coleman of Largo, Florida; a daughter, Lynn (Mark) Dutton of Indianapolis, Indiana; 3 stepchildren, Blaine (Sonia) Gerhard of Lake Worth, Florida, LuAnn Name of Kokomo, and Linda Olinger (Earl Cowan) of Cicero, Indiana; six grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his stepfather, Harold Coleman.
There will be a service for Thomas held at 10 am on Monday, July 31st at the mausoleum chapel at Sunset Memory Garden cemetery in Kokomo.
