Thomas Dean Wyrick, 64, of Kokomo passed away at 3:04 PM Wednesday August 15, 2018 at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis, Indiana. Born July 17, 1954 in Marion, Indiana he was the son of the late Frederick Wyrick and Marian (Zehring) Wyrick. He was a veteran who served in the United States Navy. He was employed with General Motors, and after retiring he pursued a career in commercial transportation for Pasquale Trucking in Logansport. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #292. He loved watching Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr, riding his motorcycle, playing drums, snow skiing, traveling, taking his son Jason to theme parks, and spending time with his grandson Liam.
Survivors include his son Jason Wyrick of Kokomo; one brother William (Kathy) Wyrick of Converse; one sister Marilyn Davis of Muncie; one grandson Liam Wyrick; nephews Brian Wyrick, Geoffrey Wyrick, and Andy Davis; also several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; also one niece Tisha Parsons.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Larry Zehring will officiate. Burial with military rites by the U.S. Navy and the Kokomo Military Rites Team will follow at Galveston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday at the mortuary.
