

Willadene (Dena) McKee age 81 went to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:30pm, at Golden Living with her family and friends by her side. Born February 3, 1938 Tipton County, Indiana. Daughter of Bev and Effie (Lovell) Lawman.
Willadene attended two years of bible college at the Penecostal Bible Institute in Tupelo, Mississippi. After college, Willadene moved to serve in home mission work at the First Pentecostal Church in Huntington, IN. In later years, returning to Kokomo, she attended Southside Apostolic Church where she was a faithful member. Willadene retired from Memcor after 29-years of service in Huntington, IN. She enjoyed playing dominoes and other games usually late at night. Willadene loved spending time with her family.
She loved the Lord and always found good in others. Her love and compassion for mission work was always at the top of her list and she sponsored many missionaries over the years.
Willadene is survived by her son Gerald (Debbie) of Kokomo; grandchildren, Justin (Janelle) of Westfield, Dustin (Kira) of Lafayette, and Kyle of Indianapolis; four great-grandchildren Samuel, Norah, Bailey, and Noah; twin brother Eugene (Ava) Lawman; sister, Helen (Owen) Owsley; sister-in-law Wilma Lawman, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie J. (Lavelle) Lawman, Edward Lee Lawman, and Harold (Lavone) Lawman; two sisters, Anna Mae (Delmar) Wade of Kokomo, and Stella Riggs and husband Pastor James G. Riggs of Noblesville.
There will be a time of visitation for Willadene, on Tuesday, March 26 from 12:00pm until time of service, at 1:00pm, at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Rev. Keith Mosier will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery.
