Willard George Rubow

Willard George Rubow, age 66, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021. Willard was born September 28, 1954 to the late Donald and Rita (Shelby) Rubow, in Peru, Indiana.

Willard married Dianna Sue Cox on January 8th, 1973, and they were happily married for 45 years. She preceded him in death on July 13, 2018.

Willard loved being outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or camping. He and Dianna loved to travel together and go on a cruise every anniversary. He mainly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He and Dianna also attended Abundant Life Church for many years.

Willard is preceded in death by his wife Dianna; both his parents; a brother, Donnie Gene; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He leaves behind three beautiful daughters, Tracy Ellis (Floyd Patton III), Deborah Gordon (Joseph, deceased); Kimberly Anderson (Dan); sisters Kathleen Aldridge (Melvin) and Teresa Stout (Charles Zimmerman); grandchildren, Roman Heredia (Heather), Timothy Dalton (Roselyn), Kristen Heredia, Michael Marr (Bre), Samantha Marr, Kylie Russell, and Angel Stout; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Willard will be private. He will be laid to rest at Albright Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are welcomed by the family.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Rubow family.

Dad I can't even begin to tell you how much you are truly going to be missed. I have so many memories of you and mom together with us because you guys really did give us the best life you could and we definitely didn't have room for complaint. We have a huge wonderful loving family both near and far that we know thanks to you and lots of cousins we know and love and spent lots of time with growing up also. I have so many memories I will carry with me forever thanks to you and mom and I will never forget the love you truly showed us in a family.

My Heart is breaking you are with Dianna now i know that what you wanted you went through hell to get there so now you rest i am missing you so much i will always remember the camping tips we went on you would call say we going camping and off we would go i will miss them but i will miss you the most Love you both we will see you some day for now i will keep you both in my heart Love your sister kathy

We remember oh so well all of the good times that we shared with my amazing cousins, Mike and Diane. All the shared dinners and camping trips. We miss you both so much.
I can't forget about that huge dresser that Mike and Mike you could fit a monopoly game in the drawer length was huge!!!

Dad loved the Colts! He never missed a game even if he had to record it and watch later. I remember the year he finally got season tickets and got to go watch them in person he was so happy. He took everyone at least once I think but I know his favorite person to watch football with was his oldest grandson Casey (my son) ❤️ Those 2 were on a whole other level lol!
