William McKinley Christopher

William M. "Buck" Christopher, age 90, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at North Woods Village. He was born on April 8, 1934 in Cuzick, KY to the late William Elmer and Fannie Mae (Foster) Christopher. He married Betty B. (Poe) Christopher and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2010. Buck retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass after over 30 years of employment. Buck and his late wife, Betty, were both past members of the Eagles. He was an animal lover such as chickens, rabbits, and array of birds. Buck also enjoyed traveling to animal swap meets and flea markets. He loved flowers, trees, and being outdoors. He never met a stranger. Buck loved to tell stories and meet new people. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Roger Christopher; daughters, Patty Krippenstapel and Leanne "Byrd"(Tom) Swafford; grandchildren, Rhiannon Hart, Chris Swafford, Collin Christopher, and Wolfgang Krippenstapel; great-granddaughter, Jaeley Shuck; brother, Dallas Roger Christopher; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding in death is his loving wife, Betty; and siblings, Lizzy, Clay, Lonnie, Linda, Mary, Lillie, and Fern. There will be a time of visitation for Buck on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, IN. Kenneth Cockrell will be officiating. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery.
