Adam Wallace Souza Carvalho, 95, passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2026, in Lihue. He was born on Aug. 28, 1930, in Hanamaulu, Hawaii. He was a journeyman mechanic and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife EnCarnacion Carvalho and parents Manuel and Alexandrina Carvalho.
He is survived by his daughters Charlotte Camara, Joyce (Jerry) Baptista and Colleen (David Sr.) Braun.
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary in Koloa, Kauai. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Borthwick Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
