Joseph "Joey" Silva

Joseph “Joey” Silva, 76, passed away on July 3, 2026, at Wilcox Medical Center. He was born on March 24, 1950, in Lihue, Kauai. He was the Branch Manager/Sales Director at Nutrien Ag Solutions.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Beatrice Silva and brother Bernard R. Silva.

He is survived by his wife Linda Kaeo Silva, sons Jonathan (Lian) Bonachita, Joey (Sherri) Silva, daughter Jolene Silva, brother Nicholas (Donna) Silva, sister-in-law Cynthia McKnight, Debra Robertson, grandchildren Joey Silva, Jasmine Silva, Justin Bonachita, Jelacia Peralta, Jaymie-Lee Peralta, Lilinoe Silva, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo, Kauai. Visitation begins at 8:30 a.m., Mass to be celebrated at 10:15 a.m.

A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff who assisted Joey during his stay at the hospital. We are so grateful for your kindness, sincere care and concern. Your comforting words during our toughest moments made a difference during his stay.
