She was preceded in death by her parents Denta and Masa Murao, sisters Misao Kamoi, Yoshiko Kido, Hanae Murao, Haruko Nakatsuka, and Tsutae Sasakibara, brothers Tadatoshi Murao and Hitoshi Murao, husband Paul M.K. Ono, and daughter Mary Ann Keiko Ono.
She is survived by her daughters Pauline (Michael) Schick, Char (Darrick Nordmeier) Ono, Diane (Guy) Higa, and Lilian (Bobby) Chung, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be a private service.
Arrangements are being made by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
