She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest G. Silva and Marian Huddy Silva, brothers Ernest Silva Jr., Harrison Silva, sister Laverne Silva, husband Andrew Vidinha, son Brian Silva, granddaughter Starsha Silva, son-in-law Patrick “BG” Laysa and daughter-in-law Kuulei Vidinha.
She is survived by her son Burt Vidinha, daughters Erleen “Erla” Akana, Jayneen Laysa, 10 grandchildren, 1 hanai grandson, 29 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, sister Sylvia Poland of Liberty, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary in Koloa. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m., followed by the service. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery.
