She was preceded in death by husband Harry Gayagas Sr., sons Harry Gayagas Jr., Howard Gayagas, sister Elsie Laraba, and brother James Mariano.
She is survived by daughter Jaye Gayagas-Youn, son Boyd (Gaylene) Gayagas, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life is Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at St. Catherine in Kapa‘a. Visitation begins at 9 a.m., Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m., and burial will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery in Kapa‘a.
