Palacios family:
I was Nito's 7th grade science teacher at Vela. I'm absolutely shocked and saddened to hear of his illness and passing. 
Nito was such a fun young man to be around and always so helpful. He was kind when others were not and that's hard to come by in middle school.
I still have a card he made me during Teacher Appreciation Week. Nito was one of a kind!
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Juanito was that shining star that lived such a wonderful life and leaves behind such wonderful memories. Prayers in abundance.
