Angelica Christine Korhummel was born on October 3, 1982, in San Diego, California, to Roger and Alejandrina. On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Angelica passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a family, friends, and community who will forever cherish the love and light she brought into their lives.
At the age of 12 Angelica and her family moved to Santee, California, where she made her home and remained for the rest of her life. She spent the 8 years working at Lewis Middle School, where she became much more than a staff member. She was a familiar face, a trusted friend, and a source of encouragement to countless students and colleagues who loved and admired her.
Above all else, Angelica was a devoted mother. Her three beautiful children, Andrew, Liliana, and Dylan, were the center of her world. Everything she did was rooted in her love for them, and she took immense pride in watching them grow. They were her greatest joy and her most treasured blessing.
She is also survived by her mother and father, loving sister Amanda Perez, two brothers Roger Jr and Ryan Demshok, and five nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
Angelica will be remembered for her infectious laughter, unwavering loyalty, and the genuine love she shared so freely with others. She had a heart that welcomed everyone, a kindness that made people feel seen, and a spirited personality that could brighten even the darkest days. Her strength, determination, compassion, and unmistakable spark touched countless lives and created memories that will never fade.
Though her time with us was far too short, Angelica’s legacy lives on through the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the beautiful family she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
