

Jim passed away peacefully on June 1, 2015 after a yearlong battle with cancer. Born on September 14, 1955 in Springfield Massachusetts. Jim, at age 5, move with his family, to San Diego, California and became a lifelong San Diegan. Jim was raised in the North Park/East San Diego area, attending local schools and graduating from Hoover High in 1973. Jim was employed by the Smart and Final Company, Aloha Pest Control and finished his career with the job he loved the most, driving for the Metropolitan Transit System, assisting the elderly and disabled with their transportation needs. Jim had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh, even in the worst of times. He always loved a good party and enjoyed music. Woodworking was Jim’s favorite hobby, He always enjoyed starting new projects and giving the finished product to family and friends. The world has lost a truly great man; valued, loved, trusted and respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Julie, Son Robert of Kalispell, Montana, Daughter Michelle of New Portland, Maine. Grandchildren Trinity and Patricia; and Brother Dave of La Mesa, Ca.
