nearly 30 years after receiving a heart transplant at Sharp Memorial in 1988.
The Helix High School graduate of '74 lived in La Mesa for most of his life, and
worked 20+ years as a mail carrier for the USPS. Fun-loving and carefree, Kevin
enjoyed live music of all types, hockey and football, and riding his red Harley Davidson.
But more than anything, he adored his 4-grandchildren, Taylor (8), Zoe (5), Jake (5),
and Oscar Jr. (4-months). He joined his father Lew already in heaven, and is survived
by his mother Carolyn, his daughters Nikki (and Oscar Sr.), and Danielle (and Matt),
his brothers Ken (and Debbie), and Keith (and Cathy), his 7-neices and nephews,
his girlfriend Kathy, his best friend Pete, and his beloved dog Zander.
He was very loved and will be remembered every day.
