Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Linda was the beloved daughter of Robert and Cordie Webb. Always possessed of a bold and independent spirit, she left home at the young age of 18 to forge her own path in New York. There, she pursued her higher education and graduated from Hunter College. During her time in New York, she also dedicated 10 years to research at the prestigious Rockefeller University.
On July 26, 1980, Linda married the love of her life, Tyrone Goodwin. Together, they shared a beautiful, devoted marriage of 46 years and raised a wonderful family.
Later in life, she brought her immense talents to Southern California, dedicating 20 years of service as a Health Science Technician at Grossmont Community College. Through her decades of hard work, care, and guidance, she touched the lives of countless students, faculty, and colleagues.
Beyond her career, Linda lived a vibrant life full of passion, energy, and generosity. She stayed active and truly loved going to the gym, spending quality time with her family, cultivating her beautiful garden, and appreciating the arts. Her welcoming spirit and love for adventure shone brightly through her passion for world travel and the immense joy she found in opening her heart and home to foreign exchange students over the years.
Linda leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, family, and lifelong friendships spanning across the globe.
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die."
