

Father and Grocery Night Shift Manager love of life did not come to an end with his death. Mark John Mraz of San Diego, California, passed away on April 27, 2022 at the age of 64. Although, sudden and unexpected his passing, he is surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by continuing to work hard and live their lives to the fullest.
Mark had a long career in the grocery industry that started when he was 17 years old. Took some time off and completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at Oral Roberts University. After graduation he returned to his love of the grocery industry and working the late night/early morning hours. Besides his tireless work ethic and quiet demeanor, he was a devout Christian and spent pleasure reading scriptures and worshipping God, loved playing golf, and in years passed spending time at the beach with his dog Midnight. He was kind, softly spoken, prudent, and always had time as a father and big brother to answer our questions no matter how small.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Mark. He loved raising his adopted son Nathan, spending time with friends and family on special occasions, golf trips and tournaments, sporting events, and concerts. As eldest son of Joe and Peggy, always there arranging and attending celebrations from our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary in Las Vegas and various graduations of nieces and nephews in California. In recent years, we had a great time together taking our parents on a train ride to the Grand Canyon. Mark is survived by his son Nathan, brothers Paul and Scott and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
