Ronald Bernard Kessler, a devoted husband, father, and proud Navy veteran, passed away leaving behind a legacy of resilience, dedication, and quiet strength. Born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, he grew up with a natural curiosity and a hands on spirit that would shape the rest of his life.
He served his country with honor for 28 years in the United States Navy, a career marked by discipline, loyalty, and an unwavering commitment to duty. His years of service reflected the core of who he was — hardworking, resilient, and steadfast in every challenge he faced.
He was the loving father of three daughters with Eva: Rose, Florence, and Lorie, who each carry forward his determination, humor, and resourcefulness. For the past 32 years, he shared his life with his wife, Thelma Solon Kessler, with whom he built a home filled with love, partnership, and mutual respect.
He came from a large family, with four brothers and one sister. His sister, Patricia Ricci, remains the only surviving sibling, carrying forward the family’s shared memories, stories, and deep bonds.
At home, he was known as a true “Mr. Fix It.” Whether tinkering in the garage, rebuilding cars, or shaping wood into something useful and beautiful, he could fix almost anything. His garage was his sanctuary — a place where creativity, patience, and skill came together in the hum of tools and the smell of sawdust.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his steady presence, and the way he approached life with both grit and heart. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the projects he crafted with his own hands, and the countless ways he made life better for the people around him.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
