It is with great sadness, but also with profoundly grateful hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Shirley Krueger Haak. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the age of 97.
Born on October 11, 1928, in Madison, Wisconsin, Mom was the true heart of our family. For 97 years, she brought love, kindness, and warmth into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She shared a lifelong, loving bond with our dad, Louie, to whom she was married for 74 years before his passing in 2023.
While our hearts are heavy with her loss, we are deeply thankful for the extraordinary gift of having had her as our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother for so many wonderful years.
Rest peacefully, Mom. We love you and will miss you more than words can say.
