Telesfora Cabading Alebin

Our beloved centenarian and matriarch Telesfora Cabading Alebin fondly called Flora passed away peacefully in the presence of her daughter Josie by her bedside on December 11, 2024 in La Mesa, California , U.S.A.

Flora was born on June 16, 1921 in San Juan, La Union , Philippines. She lived there until she got married and moved to Baguio City in 1947.

She passed at 103 and a half years old and preceded by her parents Victorio Cabading and Catalina Avecilla Cabading , 8 siblings, Olimpio, Saturnina, Maxima, Marcelina, Emiliano, Felisa and Paula. Among her immediate family who preceded her are her husband Loreto Fajatin Alebin 3, sons Loreto Jr. , Romeo and Reynaldo ,2 stepdaughters , Cristina and Adelaida. She is survived by her 6 daughters. Angie, Rhemee, Norma, Josie, Lita , Liza and 2 step daughters Cora and Lily, 37 grandkids, 38 great grandkids, and 11 great great grandkids.

Flora has always been hardworking since her teen years until she got married. She was very supportive of her husband who was a bus driver in a government bus company , Benguet Auto Line. She was mostly preoccupied as a mother, housewife and part time businesswoman cooking and selling Filipino goodies and pastries.

Flora had a passion playing Bingo and Black Jack which seem to have contributed to her mental alertness that led to her very ripe old age of more than a century .

Flora has touched many lives leaving a legacy of humility, patience , generosity, resilience and unwavering love of family. May these qualities be treasured in the hearts of family and friends and all those she has left behind. She has truly been an inspiration.

Flora came to the United States in 1989 but has signified her wishes to go back to Baguio City , Philippines when the time comes . She will be buried beside her husband and three sons at the

A memorial / celebration of life will be held in Vallejo , California , U.S.A before her remains will be brought to the Philippines . Final arrangements will be announced later.
