For more than 101 years, God blessed the world through the life of Mrs. Alice Neal Martin Reddick, a woman whose unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and selfless love touched generations of family, friends, students, and church communities. Born in Troup County and raised in Stovall, Georgia, she dedicated her life to serving others as an educator, principal, devoted wife to Rev. Joshua Reddick, loving mother, and faithful servant of God. Whether in the classroom, at home, or in the church, she inspired countless lives through her wisdom, compassion, and steadfast Christian example.
Mrs. Reddick faithfully served alongside her husband throughout his pastoral ministry, ministering to congregations across Georgia and Florida with grace, humility, and hospitality. She believed that true ministry was lived daily through kindness, encouragement, and service. After returning to Georgia, she spent her later years surrounded by the love of her family, continuing to be a source of wisdom, strength, and encouragement to everyone blessed to know her.
Mrs. Reddick was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. Joshua Reddick; her son, Richie Reddick; her parents, Omaneal and Rubin Martin; and her brother, Render Martin, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory of her devoted son, Alton Reddick, Sr. (Sharon); her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, former students, church family, and countless friends whose lives were forever changed by her love and faith. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished, the students she inspired, the churches she faithfully served, and the many lives she touched. A life well lived. Forever in our hearts. ❤️
