I was blessed to have been Angie's childhood friend. She was such a sweet and beautiful soul. Prayers to her husband, parents, sisters, and friends. What a wonderful angel heaven has.

I was Angie Henderson Laughlin's French professor while she was a student at Gardner-Webb University 1991-1995.

I consider Angie one of the kindest, most devoted, most sincere, and most caring people I have ever taught.

I wish to express to the family my sincere sympathy for the tremendous loss we have all suffered.

She has made a tremendous impact on all of us who knew her and loved her.

I am so sorry for your loss. Angie was such a sweet and loving person. Even though I was only around her for a short period of time I felt like I had known her forever. In October of 1995, I became the pastor of Red Hill Baptist Church in Pickens, South Carolina.  One of the sweetest families I have ever met is Angie and her family.  In June of 1998, it was a privilege for me to perform Sherry (Angie's) sister and Angie and John's weddings two weeks apart.  We have tried to keep up with Angie's journey holding out hope that God would heal her, and now God has.  I know where Angie is, and I look forward to being with her in Heaven forever. God has never created a sweeter spirit than Angie. She is truly an example of perseverance. I am blessed to have had her as a childhood friend. I never recall a harsh word from her ever spoken during the time we were friends so many years ago. Angie's drive gave me hope many days. Her smile illuminated hundred of hearts even through her pictures. Angie has been and will continue to be an inspiration to us all through her determination and will. Words cannot heal the pain or emptiness, but please find some comfort in knowing how she blessed us all in her short time on earth. Her mansion is huge and her crown is heavy. Peace and comfort be with her family and friends in the days ahead.
