

Miss Justice, born December 8, 1920, is survived by cousins and her dear friend, guardian and long-time companion, Jim Nelson.
Miss Justice, Graduate of LaGrange College in 1942, worked in Social Security in Washington, D.C. and was a Trail Blazer in Women’s Rights and especially Social Security Benefits, helping to write many of the laws and regulations that are still in place today. She returned to her hometown of LaGrange, where she continued to work with the Veterans Administration, Welfare Department and Social Security as a Field Representative in the Southeast. Miss Justice was active at First United Methodist Church and especially at Unity Methodist Church.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 27, 2013, at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend James F. Nelson officiating.
