Barbara Starnes

Mrs. Starnes was born June 19, 1937 in LaGrange, Georgia, daughter of the late Archie Monroe Robinson and Jessie Clyde Strickland Robinson. She was a member of Oakside Baptist Church and was employed with Five Star, before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Debby (Bill) McCluskey; granddaughter, Tiffany (Brian) Batchelor; grandson, Adam (Donna) McCluskey; great granddaughter, Emily Eaton (Brylie) Batchelor; four sisters, Brenda Robinson, Dot (Jerry) Nix, Joan Ashley, Jean Hartman; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby, with Rev. Jimmy Pruitt officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in the Glenn Methodist Church Cemetery.
