OBITUARY

Ben Frank Willingham Sr.

Mr. Ben Frank Willingham, 87, of LaGrange, GA was ushered to his eternal home, with family by his side on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from his residence.

Mr. Willingham was born November 1, 1931 in LaGrange, GA to the late Elder T. Willingham and Velma Brown Willingham. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church and owned and operated Bull Street Barber Shop, also known as Ben’s Barber Shop for 31years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nell H. Willingham; son, Ben Willingham Jr.; and several siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Yates Willingham; children, Chris Willingham and Linda Willingham; grandchildren, Hank King, Gina King, Christy Willingham, Megan Willingham, and Sarah Willingham; siblings, Buddy Norred, Bryant Willingham, LaVerne White, and Mary Lane; several other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 9:30am until 10:30am at the funeral home. The Graveside Service will be 11:00am Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Benji Dukes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concord Baptist Church in memory of Ben Frank Willingham, Sr.
