Benjamin Sheffield

Mr. Sheffield was born December 18, 1926 in Richmond, VA, son of the late Frank Wooten Sheffield and Eula Horner Sheffield. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Clearview Chapel. Mr. Sheffield was retired from Milliken and Company as an electrical engineer.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Emily Sheffield of LaGrange; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chip and Pat Sheffield of Fayetteville, GA and John and Lori Sheffield of Alpharetta, GA; one daughter, Dr. Emilyn Sheffield of Chico, CA; three grandchildren, Brandon Sheffield, Allie Sheffield, and Taylor Sheffield; and two great grandchildren, Cooper Sheffield and Charley Sheffield.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Clearview Chapel with Reverend Charlie Metcalf officiating. Entombment will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.

The gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Clearview Chapel.
